#uproot is a global, youth-led political agenda based on the principles of equity, inclusion and solidarity, aimed at ending AIDS by 2030 and advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights, by tackling the barriers, bigotry and exclusion that jeopardize young people’s health.
To end AIDS by 2030, we must tackle the systemic challenges that keep holding young people back. These challenges are deeply entrenched and rooted in inequalities, violence, discrimination and exclusion.
Young people are best placed to propose creative solutions to these challenges, and are also the ones who will lead the final leap in the HIV response to end AIDS by 2030, and guarantee a safe future for the upcoming generations.
In order to #uproot the root causes that keep putting us at risk of HIV, we will work to challenge bad laws and policies, support our participation everywhere our health and future is decided, and strengthen our partnerships to end AIDS by 2030.
